GTS DeDion rear calipers

Just fitted my rear calipers on my W7DE and there seems to be very little space between the caliper and the hub carrier, with the caliper opened up far enough to get pads in it fouls the hub carrier. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me

Cheers Andy

Hi Andy,

The rear calipers do look like they are in a weird position, but the rear discs are stepped quite a bit. I have included some pictures of my setup in my photo archive under "de-dion". Should be the same setup as yours? Even though I have a "development" chassis according to Darren.

Hope the build is going well now mate!

Hi Nathan,

had a look at your pics and they look similar to mine just bought some pads so will let you know how it looks with them fitted.

Build going well mate although looking at your chassis pics you dont have the same problem as me in that the box section that comes back to the bulkhead near the clutch pedal, ell mine directing in line with the clutch pedal so clutch cable fitting not gonna be easy.

hows things for you

all the best

Andy
