Vacuum pump

Hi All,

I'm after a medical/industrial (not car) vacuum pump in need of repair/refurbishment (locost)

Anyone got one kicking around the garage or workplace that's in the way? If so, please get in touch.

TIA, Billy

Preferably single phase but could always swap a 3 phase motor for a single phase.

As for size, about 0.5 hp motor.

I want to be able to suck down vacuum bags for carbon fibre moulding.

Cheers, Billy

To do a half decent job you'll need an autoclave to go with that pump. Otherwise, you'll end with a surface full of pinholes, .......and a head full of aches. Unless you're using wet layup, in which case the end weight will be near the same as grp. This is one subject area I am more than a little experienced in.

Cheers,
Syd.
