I recently upgraded from sealed beams to some halogens as one of my sealed beams had blown. However i`m pretty sure I still have the other sealed unit boxed up and it was in full working order if 1 is any good to you?

If they're still going Lolocost are very reasonable for sealed beams. Generally you need a plug in side light loom for the side light and it shines through a small window in the back of the sealed beam. Unfortunately the looms are often about £9 each from those stalls at kit car shows.

don't recall ever seeing one with a side lamp in there .... so as above ^^^^

I've got a pair you can have for free, regular 7 inch(?) ones from a Land Rover - same size as MGB, mini and a plethora of other British cars from the 60-80s.

All the old Minis had them. 7" are still freely available and you can get H4 conversions for them from VWP or similar which are a massive improvement. There's a 7" sealed beam on there with glass pilot window for £7.69.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
