HELP QUICK FOR STONELEIGH MK LOCK NUT BALL JOINT THING

Hi there,
I'm posting on behalf of Gaz from Croft, leicestershire, a member of the forum who hasn't been able to get on the forum for some reason. He's after a lock nut, for the MK top ball joint, M18 x 1.5, and he wonders if anyone local can help him out?? Otherwise he's stuffed for stoneleigh!! If anyone can help, he's available on 07967 048611.
Cheers,
Matt

Just been and looked, sorry thought I had one as I swapped my MK upper wishbones for a GTS (yes GTS) ones, but hav'nt.
Best bet is try Go Fixings in Hinckley, not bad stock of odd sizes, else got to a decent Motor factors, again locally I know RAE MOTOR FACTORS 01455 637313 and get them to see if you can get a joint, with new nuts included.

Probably just me but

Personally I would put some threadlock on it and drive to the show, someone there will sell them. Conduit gland nuts are the right size if you have any electrical contractors nearby.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

have you tried ringing around local motor factors to get hold of a complete ball joint? Parkers at Syston are open until 11pm even on Sundays and the motorist Centre at Earl Shilton will always order stuff in, same day usually, they`re also open Sundays. You just need to know what car the ball joint is off?
