I would suggest that you use something other than the Alpha ecu as it can only be tuned by an Alpha dealer.

if i were going from scratch i would go the throttle body route.
you can pick up gsxr 1000s throttle bodies and the ECU to run them for not much more than webbers.
or if feeling a bit flush go for jenveys
You have the added cost of a high pressure fuel pump and swirl pot but you will make this back just in fuels saved withing a year.
If you are going to go for webbers then make sure you get a matched pair! I think the progression drillings can be a problem on the zetec. ( these add
more fuel to smooth out the bit between the idle and main jets).
So a shopping list for you is:
Carb Route -
1.Carbs - either weber 45s or bike carbs (not sure which)
2.manifold
3. either ECU or a modified dizzy
4.low pressure fuel pump and regulator
5.Air filters
6.Rolling road or some skill to set the carbs up
Throttle bodies
1. bodies , injectors, fuel rail - jenveys or gsxr1000s
2. Manifold
3. ECU - megajolt/squirt (not sure about these but there is alot of info on how to get this working on here plus alot of help from people). Something
like and emerald ECU
4. low pressure fuel pump - swirl pot - high pressure fuel pump
5. air filters
6. Rolling road or a map from someone on here with similar setup
I'm sure people can add to these list and tell me what i got wrong but it's a start
Good luck
Rupert
