engine parts needed

hi there,
Need a load of engine parts. I have a 2 litre silver top zetec engine.

I need all the bits that go with it, from inlet/ exhaust manifolds, carbs, ecu to mention a few.

I only have the engine itself, alternator and starter motor..

Cheers,

I, once, bought an engine this way - ie bits at a time, and found it an expensive and long winded way to go about it.

I'd suggest buying a complete donor car, presumably a Mondeo, for a couple of hundred quid, taking everything you need.

Apart from that, I'm not much help I'm afraid

ATB

Simon

Rampton Breakers Cuckoo lane Rampton, they have several mondeos in there and only want about £80-100 for a whole engine. If you speak to them nicely, you can get a pile of bits thrown in as well.

They will Gas axe the engine out for you, if you dont want to take it out yourself.
Best to be there at the time, so you can tell them what NOT to cut / destroy.

Personally I would take it out yourself, and just get them to lift it out for you.

You wont want the the gearbox etc, so there is some unbolting work to be done.

Get the matching ECU and wiring as well.
