Trailer tyre
I'm trying to buy one 400-8, 4-ply trailer tyre - it's the most common one fitted to 8" wheels.
I tried the local tyre places - anything from £21 to £32 fitted, with a new tube. Ended up buying 2 tyres AND wheels for £21 each set in
Indespension!
Now I want to buy 1 tyre that I'll fit myself, to one of the old refurbished wheels (as a spare). I found a few internet suppliers that want
around £13 a tyre - but with a huge delivery charge.
Does anyone know of an on-line supplier who is more reasonable, and has free or cheap delivery?
cheers,
David

Towsure - yes
Ebay - not yet
Ray - For £1 more I can get a wheel and tube included from the Indespension shop!
I'm not trying to be tight (well, just a bit) it's just that I've got a good wheel and tube, and it's only going to be a
spare, so it just rankles that buying the whole thing seems to be the only way...
UPDATE
Just had a look on ebay - they're taking the wee! Yes, the tyres with or without wheels are quite cheap - but the postage charges make them a
fair bit dearer than the local shop!
