brake master cylinder

After having set brake system up with the escort MK 11 my unit doesn`t seem to produce the pressure despite a new seal kit. Anybody got one or a similar unit?
This one has two outlets to front discs and another for rear drums.

Assuming you have bled the system correctly (remember the pedal must be held to the floor while the bleed nipples is closed) the odds are you have a leak at a pipe union somewhere in the system, go over the whole very carefillu with some bod pumping the pedal.

If that dosen't show anything you can test the master cylinder by removing the pipe connections to it and replacing them with bleed nipples, then giving it a very quick bleed. After bleed the pedal should be rock solid.

Thanks Andy.
Iwent out this morning and clamped all hoses.............solid pedal. Mmm guess what? I had the calipers on the opposite way with bleed nipples at the bottom. Swopped them round and bled the old fashioned way.............result
