Anyone got any lying around that's been pulled from old laptops? I need 2 x 512meg sticks. TVM.

What os are you running in it? Win98 won't use any more than 512Mb anyway and if the lappy's that old you will struggle to run XP or Vista to make use of the extra.

It's an old Compaq Evo 410c someone bought at a boot sale for next to nothing and has asked me to max out the memory on. It runs XP just fine but needs some more memory.

After buying a great value lappy drive off you at the weekend Graeme I went to your site first. Sadly you are out of stock, plus I really need a cheap option on this. Thanks anyway.
