Wanted - Dizzy for Pinto non vac advance
Hi all
I am looking for a distributor to use on the Tiger Supercat i am building for a friend. Standard Pinto with twin Weber 45's so i need a non
vacuum advance dizzy.
Anyone gone over to megajolt and got one lying around that they want to swap for some beer tokens??
Cheers
Paul

I just used the standard one without the vac connected on my Pinto with 40s. Ran and idled fine and made good power.

I thought that the amount of advance would reduce power without the vacuum system operational. Would be interested to hear what others feel so will
open up a thread in the proper section but appreciate your comments.

Vac advance is essentially an ecomomy device it allows the use of weaker mixtures at idle and low throtle opennings.

Thanks for the replies gents. I'll run with the standard distributor then unless the owner's budget will stretch the extra £100 to
Megajolt.
