block of Polyurethane Foam wanted
hi, i want to make a glass fiber moldusing PUR ( Polyurethane ) foam.
i cant seem to find any anywhere, so does anyone have a spare block i can buy?
I need 40cm x 30cm, by 20cm high so i can make a good mold... i dont mind sheets that i can glue together to get the right height...

B&Q are doing some £20 (i think) for 4 sheets about 50cm x 100cm ish. Larger stores only.

A couple of dustbin bags, and a can of polyeurathane expanding foam.
Use that as your basis for a mould, and it will fit your bum exactly.
A lot easier than chipping away at a foam block.
Just my 2d worth.

From following Ian's build, i think he needs to make a mould for his inlet gubbins and not a seat

wow. spot on!!!!
im trying to make an inlet airbox for my manifold...
i went to a local builders yard and they had a few off cuts that they gave me!
i also went to B&Q and brought a can of expanding foam.... Sprayed it into a big tray and after an hour i was shocked to see it had grown in to a
mountain!!!!!
