Throttle return spring

I have a hatful of springs suitable in length but all a bit on the strong side,

Anyone got one a bit on the softer side if you know what I mean ?

Around 4-6 inch long and a tad weak would be great. Ta.

Same as the above post......look at an old folding chair, the canvas ones....on the back there are 3 springs.....I used one of them for my return spring on the accelerator pedal. ....had the right curves at both ends to fit into place.....Local refuse tip should have hundreds of them.....

HTH

Regards

if you have spring of correct tension but too short, you can "lengthen" it by including a piece of thick wire.
