22 mm I.D. aluminium tube?
don;t suppose anyone has got a short length (20 - 30 cm) of 22 mm i.d. aluminium tube lying round and taking up space?
wall thickness not too important as it it not scructureal - looking to make some lamps out of it.
(off to B&Q now but I think they do 20 mm O.D max).
----- partial result; B%Q do 22 mm copper pipe couplers so that may do.
VVVV B&Q do 25 mm steel but much heavier than the copper tube; copper will be handy to dissapate the heat.
I did notcie some short cupboards legs for just over a qid but at 30 mm a bit too big.

A bit late seeing as you've probably already gone there!

no.
the internal diameter has to be 22 mm. it is to house some LED lamps - no bending and wall thickness not important as it is not structural; although
thick tubing > 3 mm is going to start to increase weight unecessarily.
ideal 20 mm AF internal hex tubing would be even better but that is dreaming.,
the copper tubes are a very good fit so thankt for the offer but don;t bust your a%% looking - naturally al is prefered but I have a workable
alternative.

cheers but that is a touch too big internally.
I'll see if can use the 22 mm couplers.
