Wanted aldon ignition kit

Does anybody have an aldon electronic ignition kit for a Xflow FoMoCo (MOTORCRAFT) that I could buy pls?

If you get stuck I have a Valencia distributor in my shed. Used one on my old engine to good effect.

If you get an Aldon Ignitor you will have to reset your timing anyway as the contact close point is not the same as a set of switch contacts!

Depending on what coil you are running you may be better off with a Luminition, the Ignitor I had in my Range rover V8 self combusted with a sports coil that I had put in as I had lost the ballast wire when I changed starter motor for a modern type!

Hi Carl. Don't worry about the advance it can be reset easily. The aldon setup has not proved to be the most reliable.

There is however at least one company who will do you a new bosh setup with an advance curve more suited to a locost race engine. I will U2U when i have found his details if interested.

cheers chaps, spoke to the guys at luminition, they are sending me an adapter plate to enable me to use my magnetronic kit that I already had
