Yep - checked the bulb , all the wiring , even tried swearing at it
I took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts but there seems to be small bit worn off one of the contacts.............

I used Car builder solutions to make up another switch. Works fine just the same.

The problem with changing the switch is time...... I would have to get one , change the wiring to suit , make a new switch panel to fit it , all
before saturday morning.......whereas if anyone has an escort switch spare I can just swop the switch
Its cuz I is blond , innit
