Wanted - single cylinder bike engine.

I'm after a single cylinder engine for a bike project of mine.

Will consider anything 4 or 2 stroke.

Ideally would be a 125-600cc 4 stroke with running gear or a 2 stroke bigger than 125cc.

Anyone got something sat in their shed/garage?

I have a Kawasaki KLR600 engine here although once I find a Cagiva Mito blown up/cheap it's going in that.

Then I'm after a 175/250 2 stroke single to attach to my Speedfight scooter

Sorry can't help ya, just like gassing about my nutty projects

Oh, did I mention the vintage trials bike I've got as well.......

Hmmm, the Aprillia looks great but the chain is on the wrong side... too much needed, rear wheel (got one) but the swingarm will need changing as well.

I'm after a Cagiva Mito or TZR 250, small bikes with decent size wheel & tyres.

You are right the chain is on the wrong side for most engines.

All i'm gonna do is turn the wheel round a mod the swing arm.

I can put the swing arm in a jig, cut it about to how i want it and then TIG it back up. Shouldn't take more than an afternoon.
