why do you feel the need for a HIF 38?
for those that don't know, HIF was last in the long series of SU carbs, the numbers following the letters being the choke size.
in olden times it was the number of 1/4 inch increments and later days was in mm.
so HIF 38 is 38 mm diameter choke or 1.5 inches in old money; so would be same as makes no different to a HIF 6. That is assuming the bolt holes
are in same location - would be mad if they weren't.

What i need is a classic mini SU CARB 1"1/2 . Aka HIF 38 or HS6 or even H4.
It's for my mini. It has to be in good working condition.
