Maestro 1300 engine

Afraid it has to be a 1300..going in a moggie.
I want to keep it A series. (+)
I've never been a fan of e-bay..too risky.
Thanks
Jon

Might just be worth checking to see if your local Austin/Rover dealers have an new old stock item . If the have you may get it for peanuts. I brought a couple of new old stock engines once for £50 each. Failing that check your local recon engine suppliers?

Meastro 1300 engine

I'm still after a low mileage 1300 maestro engine..
tried the 'dealers' and no luck.. most said there are no 'Rover ' dealers any more.
Will do a deal with my MT75 g/box for the engine.
Or i will exchange the MT75 for an equally good sierra 2Litre type9 and the g/box tunnel from the sierra.
thankyou
Jon
