Fine metal gauze

Need a small piece or 4 even smaller bits to use as a temporary air filters over the 4 bike carbs and will use cable ties to keep them on.

Anybody got a spare bit or know where I can get some from. There is one bit on fleabay that I'm keeping an eye on, any other suggestions though are welcome.

Cheers

Rich

You might as well not bother using anything as it's dust size particles that cause engine wear . Fit a proper air filter.

Don't bother. They strangle the engine and don't filter out the poo that really does the damage (ie fine dust). They'll stop pebbles but how often have you had pebbles flying towards your inlet manifold.....

Buy a sheet of muslin (the stuff use to filter jam etc). That should be fine enough and cheap!

Local Motorists shop, ask for some aluminium mesh for body filler, comes in about 9" square & costs naff all. Tiny holes!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
