ZX9R Pickup Coil Sensor

Would anyone have a spare Pickup Coil sensor from a ZX9R C lying around?

Trying to get my engine up and running but can't get a spark - have testing the resistance across the pickup coil sensor and not getting anything so hoping this is the problem! If anyone has one let me know, if not i'll have to order one in from the dealers.

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Al,

Thanks for the reply, I have put the 100 ohm resistor in and i'm getting 9v on the grey wire at the cdi.

I have also earthed out the side stand switch and the clutch switch (until I did this the engine wouldn't turn over) now the engine turns over fine just not getting a spark . Checked the resistance across each of the sensors and the only one not returning anything was the pickup coil so i'm just hoping its that!

I'm happy to listen to any other sugestions though!

Paul
