Best with a close up photo and a ruler to try and match the weave. Lets have a look and maybe we can come up with an alternative solution. Its best to
use a piece of card or hardboard to sort the layout on, then transfer that over to the real thing once your happy its ok

I wasn't going to tell what I had done as it is @$$$!@@ stupid!!!!!!!!!
But here goes....
I had marked out both the scuttle and tunnel cover for the switches and clocks. I did the scuttle no problem with the small hole saw and then needed
some large holes for the clocks to fit so changed the hole saw....went and made a cup of coffee came out to do the tunnel cover.....can you see where
this is going!!! YES - I forgot to change back to the smaller holesaw!!
The holes are now 25mm diameter instead of 22mm, so I just want small piece of carbon to cut out 22mm holes and place over the oversize holes
Edited to add: Tunnel cover is not carbon but Blue with a Black inset top

Why not make some nice shiny aluminium bezels to reduce the hole size?

They already sit in nice shiney aluminium bezels, didn't want to extend the shiney area
