Ned, FYI...

Looks like Rally Design have the ally rack clamps slightly cheaper.. 29.50, kinda difficult to make out on the pdf tho, and not sure if thats vat inc or not.

How's this for a bit of nedding anyway, 3 consecutive replies to my own topic!!

I'm still trying to get hold of the kitcar mag with the free rally design catalogue with it this month, none of the news agents I've been into have had any kit car mags at all, appalling really.

thanks for the info on price though..

Ned.

The Rally Des Catalogue is in the back of Kit Car, it is published by Kit Cars International Ltd. you might need to tell them that so they can get it more easily.

I pick up my copy from WH Smiths....if they havent got it they will get it for you.

Cheers

Anyway, back to the point...

Anyone got, or know where to get from, escort steering rack clamps, the plain standard boring (steel of some kind I guess) ones?

Cheers.

GO,
I got mine from Speedshack at the end of November last year for just £8. It's maybe worth giving them a call as they seems to get them in quite regularly. I also got polyurethane rack mounts for £4.56 from Rallynuts.

HTH,
Craig.

Cheers for the info guys.

I'll give Rally Design a buzz, 2.50 a pair, got to be a bargain.

I'll post my success (or lack of) here for others to follow!

Go/Hornet,
Isn't that just for the rubber's to go in the mounting clamps? Seems too cheap.
Cheers,
Craig.

Got mine from SpeedShack too. One of the Capris (mk2 i think) has the same mounts. Steve at Speed Shack will know. Cost me under a tenner.

Oh they sell the poly-u bits too.

Chris

Edit: Phone number is 01895 449066. Make sure you mention the site - he might even give you a discount!!

Chris,
Yes I think it was you who pointed me to speedshack at the time.

The polyu bits from SpeedShack were abotu £11 but are only £4.56 from Rallynuts and postage was cheap enough to make it worthwhile.
Cheers,
Craig.
