Carlton 8v steel sump

Wanted for rwd xe conversion-cheap please-doesnt need to be mint as it will be modded anyway.

I've got an 2ltr 8v vauxhall sump, same as the 1.8 carlton if thats what you're after.

down the local scrappy there are loads of 1.8/2ltr cavaliers which all have the same steel sump.

don't know what it's worth though or where you are/if it'll be worth the cost of posting....

Ok Ned-i'm still not sure what the heck i'm after to be honest. I'm bidding on a manta sump at the moment-but i think thats going to go beyond my budget.Really dont know how easy/hard it would be to modify a steel one-assuming it will fit my application.

check yukspeed, as they do a ready modded steel sump or a weld up version thats a little cheaper. the manta sump should be ok, a westifeld/casterham sump is nice, but expensive, or mod an 8v steel fwd sump from an 8v 1.8/2ltr.
