WTD: Some IVA bits

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a sierra/totally smooth gearknob I could stick on my type 9? And a radiused gear lever gaiter?

I also need a lot of beading. Its for fibreglass and I need to do my seats, flanges on my tunnel, flange on the rear of my nose cone and my entire bonnet.

Does anyone have any bath chain I could use to tether my fuel cap?

thanks in advance, lots of pennys waiting.

Does your fuel cap have a loop inside on the back? Mine was from Newton so I rang them and they supplied steel wire and clamps FOC so it is now tethered from inside.

no it doesnt. There is a central nut on the locking mechanism so I was planning on putting one end of a bath chain over that then replacing the nut, and attaching the other end to the vent bolt which is secured through the main filler hose.

Gear Knob? Just drill out a snooker ball.

I had to heat the top end of the gearlever gently, and melt some hot melt glue on it, The ram on the snooker ball.

If you put the glue in the hole in the balll, it sets when it hits the cold gear lever.

This worked well, and has not budged in 4 years.
Just wamt the gear stick with a small torch to release the ball.
Simple and locost.
