Single rally / bucket seat

Im after a single seat please. Ideally in Durham or Sheffield area (unless you travel past and we can meet up of course). Will be used in house rather than car so needs to be fairly smart, but as always cheap! if you have a pair that are interesting i may take both and put one on an old office chair base i have.

I won one off ebay a few weeks ago but cant get to Oxford to collect it! Seller is taking ages arranging courier so thought id ask in case i can lay hands on another more locally before i travel.

Thanks in advance,
Darren.

I've posted seats a few times with parcel force, very easy. Maybe suggest they use them?

Ive tried several ways Mr. Whippy. Its even a very lightweight Cobra seat. Seller says he doesnt have time to go to post office or arrange courier etc. Has even said i can only collect between 9am and 16.30 pm. I cant grumble etc as the auction was collect only. The seat was only a tenner so would still be cheaper if i cut my losses and bought another rather than drive down and collect.

You could arrange a courier pickup yourself, right now.

Go on the Interparcel website, put in where it gets picked up, where it goes, put in your card details, and job done. Most of the time it's TNT doing the carrying. With the weight of a seat and packaging, it should be well under £20.

I haven't used them in a while, but were always cheap and good service.

Cheers,
Nev.

Problem i had when i went on courier sites is that they want seat sizes which works out the cubic volume. Obviously a seat doesnt fill the cube but the quotes come out massive. Also i dont know the actual sizes or weight so hit a bit of a wall with that one. Good suggestion though. i know parcel force would be cheap enough but dont you have to take seat somewhere first - rather than them collecting?

I put in 55 x 55 x 100cm @ 5kg into interparcel site and cheapest was £40+VAT. Changing width to 15cm reduced it to less than £20. What have other people put in when asked sizes?

Try http: www.directcouriersolutions.co.uk

I have used these people several times. Very helpful and very good.
I use these people to ship the laptops.
75x75x75 cm up to 25Kgs, next day anywhere in UK (within limits) £ 12+VAT. IIRC.
How can you argue with that!
