sierra rack (steel cased pref) wanted (a narrowed one might be even better)
I'm after a steel cased (preferably, makes it a lot easier to narrow!) sierra steering rack (we just casing really, as it will be having a
quickrack kit in it)
If somebody had a narrowed 2.4 ratio one ( I need to be approx 680mm between inner track rod balljoint centres, so rack bar itself in the region of
640mm) then I'd be interested in that
anybody help?
cheers
Nat

Were they ever made in steel? I've removed 5 now from a variety of age/model cars and only ever seen alloy casing.

ah yes they were! Not too common but they are out there. I narrowed one with a quickrack in for someone on here years ago, wish I hadn't sold it
now!! LOL

Come on guys - Surely someone must have a steel body Sierra rack they are stepping over when they go in their garage.
