Dry Sump Tank Wanted

Hi,

I'm after a dry sump tank, ideally 2 gallon capacity, split/cleanable type if possible.

Thanks

Olly

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Yeah, bit of a beast.

I was really surprised when first saw that they even made them that big, especially with extra weight that it brings but working on a new V8 project and can't take any chances on the pump running dry.

The tank will mainly be used for testing on the rollers, so once I'm satisfied that the scavenge is reliable I will do some tests with less oil.

i have a peterson one cant remember if its 2 or 3 galon. its got an14 fittings, temp probe threads twin scavenge entry, splits in the middle, baffled and de-airator internally, mounting brackets etc.

if your interested i can dig it out and take some pictures for you, i was keeping it for a v8 project but haven't used it yet. it cost £600 new but make me a sensible offer and i will let it go as its just in the way at the moment and i don envision using it for a few years.

it looks like this but has a few more inlets.
