Are they not just standard type engine mount bobbins? Like the Landrover type ones? Any half decent motor factors will have something similar on the shelf.

If it was anything like mine it was the metal part of the mount that cracked and nearly snapped. Can you not get it welded up and braced ?

you can see the original weld was stronger than the nearby material.
edit, and brace it a bit if you can.

Done correctly, it will be stronger than the original. I had the same issue with mine and it's still going strong a few years after I tweaked it

Ooops I missed that one,. too far from me,.

As per previous, a good weld will be more than good enough, and any concerns get an additional brace added.

good luck

Found a welding place 1 mile from my house!!!

http://www.specialistweldingservice.co.uk/contact/

He's quoted £60 to fabricate a new base plate in 6mm steel (current one is 5mm) use the old plate as a template and weld it all up. About the same price as a new one from Westfield and it will be done in a couple of days. Can't complain about that!

I think that's for a black top zetec and not a silver top one. It's not the same as mine.

Note - although that looks different, it will fit - it's the newer version that sits to the left of where your current one will have gone to allow it to fit Blacktops (oil filter position). I have one of them on my Silvertop.

You can just see it here:

Funny that when I asked Westfield themselves if it would fit I got this reply....
