WTD: Early R1 head, (98-01) ANY condition

As above. Broken studs/mounts not an issue!

I'm trying to measure up an early R1 head for some engine simulation software, having the real thing in front of me would be helpful!

I'm after an R1 head (5JJ would be ideal), cams included would be great but no worries if not.

Thanks

James

Hi
I've got one sat in my garage spare, but not really wanting to sell it as it's had a lot of work done to it.
Is what you have planned likely to damage the head?

Hi there - not at all, I'd literally just be taking measurements from it - valve seat diameter/lift, intake/exhaust duct lengths etc.

I'm simulating the r1 engine using a programme called Ricardo Wave, in order to see the effects of changing the intake plenum when turbocharged. I can get only very rough measurements from Google at the moment.

I'm happy to cover all costs of postage obviously, insurance for sending etc. if you were happy to lend it to me?

Would that be OK?

Cheers!

James
