Type 9 gearbox spacer
Wanted type 9 to bellhousing gearbox spacer . Believe they are 16mm .
Any gathering dust anywhere chaps

Is the v6 first motion shaft really 30mm longer ?

This box already has a 30mm spacer and has had shaft cut to length of standard box . The trouble with that is shaft now only sits 5mm into spigot
bearing . I could get the 30mm spacer milled down to 15mm but thought I’d ask first .

It might be a silly question Craig but if the shaft has been cut down to the length of a standard type 9, why does it need a spacer at all?

At a guess ,using a 4 cylinder bell housing on a v6 box?

With a 15mm spacer and the input shaft having been cut down it would be the same as a 4cyl type 9 . With the 30mm spacer the end of the input shaft
