Fully-built Locost <£3000

I'm looking for a complete locost, with a budget of £3000. If anyone knows of one anywhere, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Sam

I had noticed that one but, given the fact that I don't really have a clue what I'm talking about, was slightly put off by the fact that it was something I'd never heard about, and couldn't find any info on.

Does anyone know much about it?

Thank you very much for the offer. If I do go up, I will almost certainly take you up on it.

It is over 200 miles away from me though, so what's the general opinion on if it's worth it or not? Does it look potentially like quite a good car to people who know what they're talking about (i.e. not me!)?

The back end of that one looks a bit different to locost design, with the weather gear fitted it looks like the popemobile.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Ray, if you do go to look, bear in mind the comments on this thread that seems to be a chassis from the same people. There are a few points that look questionable, not to say that they're the same on the built example.

Ray's just got back to me after having very kindly gone and had a look at it and, from what he's said, it certainly sounds like it's probably best avoided.

So, any more ideas anyone?!
