Engine crane.
Im after an engine crane for purchase if anyone has one going spare below 100 quid. Folding ideally.
Suffolk preffered although i may travel furthur for the right price.
I would borrow/hire one but id rather have my own to use at my leisure.

I rigged my own up. I got an extending beam that allegedly came out of an ambulance. I rested one end on the header plate on garage wall and made a
prop for the other end (beam is 11' long, garage is 13' wide). This has a hook on a sliding mount so i simply hung my grandfathers tackle
from that.
Other option is to make up a wooden beam and get one of those electric hoists from Makro, im sure my mate got one for way less than £100. You wont
need to be that heavy duty for lifting engines in and out.
Im sure there were some diy plans kicking about last year. Try a search.
