rear brake springs
I'm at the stage where i'm about to fit my new rear brake shoes, however i seem to be missing most of the springs that go with them.
does anyone have any spare lying around, or know of anywhere i can get them from

If its Ford go to Halfords. They do complete spring kits for most models.And they are pretty cheap.

been to halfords and they haven't got any in stock at the moment. i've got to go back on monday and order some.

Some of the parts are common to many other models so you can sometimes sort through and find a very similar spring in a kit for another model.
Especially the ones to hold on the shoes. My Cortina axle is made up with springs and clips from a Sierra, you just have to put a washer on the rod to
stop it pulling through.

I went to Halfords a while ago for Sierra ones. Only 2 packs on shelf, one bag had been opened. I took them and found open bag had 2 bits missing.
They couldnt get any more as they had been de-listed. Luckily missing bits were in another kit.
I hope you manage to get some old stock ones - if you can i recommend getting 2 sets.
I also got the shoes half price - again end of line.
