o/t Ford Maverick, Nissan Terrano gearbox.

Long shot but anyone know of one or a supplier of a recon unit.

Don't tell me about the one on ebay, I put it on, bought in error, they changed the box n muggins here dint know...

Hangs head in shame and embarrassment.............

Any refitting tips, it was a bit of a bugger too get out ?

Didn't think the one I did was too bad apart from the fact it was heavy and the bell housing sealant was stuck like you knom what . I was doing the job on a two post lift ,would hate to do it on my back . Cant help with a recon box although I have used A1 gearboxes in Eaton Socon for box repairs in the past and been happy with all of the boxes they have done for me.

try foreign auto parts in burton on trent sorry dont have there number but they should be able to get you a recon or a garunteed second hand unit

located re con box, just pulled it onto trailer with quad, that was fun...... off too mates garage with post hoist for re fitting, no way is it been slid under with car on ramps.
