What size are they

253mm or 273mm? You looking for standard or performance drilled and grooved ones?

Hi there

I've got some unused spare discs, 253mm. Some light surface rust from storage, but can easily be cleaned off. I can post a pic.

Yours for £20 + postage at cost. If interested send me a U2U

Cheers

Ian

Arr

I am not sure what diameter - did not know there was a difference. Actually this will explain why one of my bearing housing has a shorter mounting for the brake calipers.
I am assuming I was going to use larger dia.
Is there something I am missing. I as using 15" rims so I dont think fitting in the larger ones would be an issue.

Sierra solid rear discs come in 2 main sorts normal or cosworth.

The normal Sierra rear disc is 253mm dia and costs about 6 quid +vat + p&p from BuyPartsBy.
Your local motorfactor may beat this price.

The Cosworth solid rear disc is 273mm dia and is priced at 12.68+vat + p&p.

Even with 253mm dia discs you may find the car is way over braked on the rear ---- brakes that are too big aren't a good idea as you may have trouble getting the pads up to temperature.
