WTD: Very light 13" wheels (eg MB R500 Splitties)
In one of my spectacular decision U-turns I've decided to go back to keeping a set of 13's as well as my 15's.
Anyone know of anything like this or similar for sale?
I'm talking sub 4Kg a corner. I recently sold some MB R500 wheels but now wish I hadn't (~3.5Kg each)
Normal Ford 4x108 with a offset of around the ET15 to 20 mark.

Fluke Motorsport sell some very nice lightweight jobs - about £675 a set excluding VAT I think.

They look nice but not that light at all at 4.9Kg for a 13x7, my OZ Ultraleggera are cast and at 15x7 weight about that +/- 0.1Kg.
Sub 4Kg is what I'm after else I might as well stick with the 15's I have (tyre characteristics from having more sidewall etc aside)

So was that Caterham R500 wheels you had?
I've been looking at the Caterham wheels, as I understand their 13"s fit over the sierra rear calipers OK?
At about £100 a wheel, why not consider using them again (unless the CSR wheel is heavier?)

Where have you seen them for £100/wheel? I'm talking about the Mike Barnby 3 piece magnesium split rims not the one piece cast wheels (which
aren't as light as ~3.5Kgs)

The cast ones weigh in at 4.1kg for the 13x6 (from memory)
But at £80 odd quid a corner I was happy with them

£100 each once you add vat. Whats the offset (I'm assuming a std Ford 4x108 PCD and correct centre bore (63.3/63.5mm)?

Those were the ones I was looking at.
No idea about the weight though
