Small steering wheel, please!

Hi all,

I'm after a small steering wheel, prefferably a 10", Ive got a 13" at the moment and I can't fit my hand between the wheel and the side screen when turning! dont mind age or make, as long as its not too knackered or expensive. Please let me know if you have anything for sale! Thanks, Alex.

10"!...thats teeny.... You might as well just throw the steering wheel in the bin and turn the steering column with your teeth

Mine's 11" (OK, settle down at the back and stop sniggering ) and I did consider getting a 12". Apart from the space factor, it depends what gearing you've got on your steering rack.

My wheels 260mm plus a standard Escort MkII steering rack and 185/60 14" wheels.

It's fine at all speeds - but the car does wander a little if running dead straight for long periods.

I've just picked up a 10" wheel for my new project. It is really quite small. The 12" wheel on my seven is just fine though, and thats with a 2.8 turns quick rack and 195 tyres.

I've got a Mountney 10" leather steering wheel that I'm not using - yours for £15 plus a fiver for p&p.

It's in good nick - standard 6 bolt fitment so will mount to most bosses.

Let me know if it's any good for you
