ACME tap 1/2-10
slightly off topic.
does anyone on here have a 1/2-10 acme tap? need to retap the housing for my crossfeed screw on my lathe. (will also be looking for 5/8-8 at later
date)
Have found them on ebay for around £45, but only need it for 1 hole!!!!
Don't ask why i don't screwcut it myself - as i'm too busy sticking red hot pokers in my eyes!!!!!

I don't have one - but try www.traceytools.com - £20 for a 1/2-10 tap.
Also good for drills etc
