R1 Front Sprocket Nut Wanted - Urgently!!
Hi All
I'm desperately seeking a sprocket nut for my R1 engine (5VY but I think they're all the same)
I ordered one with the local Yamaha dealer earlier this week and went to pick it up today but there isn’t one in the UK so they’re ordering one in
from Europe.
I’m supposed to be testing on Friday and competing next Saturday!
Can anybody help please? Cash waiting!

Wyn, when I upgraded my R1 engine for reverse gear, I replaced mine with the gear. I put the nut on ebay and it went extremely quickly! (now I know
why).
Do a search on ebay or have a chat with jon from lynx as he supplies the gear kits and might have a spare nut.

wy you don't go to a normal nut shop and buy some special nuts???
i mean all those threads are metric fine ones...
measure up the dia of the thread and order the appropiate nut
with thread 1.0mm
1.25mm
1.5mm
and one of the three should fit!!
then if its to big you could just cut it in half or order an half size nut....
it could be temp... any way
Tks

I'll pop out into the garage to check I've definitely got it first!
U2U me your address and we'll worry about money afterwards.
Do you need the tabbed lock washer as well?
