diff where?

Where can i get a 3.14 crown wheel and pinion from?
For a 7" diff.

Go to the shop that sells rocking horse poo and hen's teeth. They might have one in stock that they will sell you!!

Other than that - strike very lucky finding one for sale for £300 upwards or keep an eye out for a diesel sierra for sale

NTDWM - but you could try contacting Sierra Shack on Ebay, he has a big warehouse full of loads of bits n bobs, worth a shot I guess.

There was a write up a few years ago, in one Kit Car mags that featured a gearbox/diff company which was remanufacturing seirra boxes and diffs.
Can anybody remember who it was?

Or is there any engineering firms which specialise in making gears/diff crownwheels?

This company manufacture a ford 3.1 crown wheel and pinion to fit the sierra diff,I called them last year for price,it was around £600 though with vat,and delivery.

You could give John at "kitfit" a try,he may have one in stock,he reconditions sierra diffs,gearboxs,driveshafts,brake calipers and carriers,etc for the kit car market.

3.14 crown wheel and pinion!

I think there is also a place near weston super mare that does recon work on ford Diffs and gearboxes. Thats in one of the kit car mags in the last few months.

Shame the Ford Atlas stuff wont fit as a 3.09 crown wheel and pinion costs about £5

I had found Raceline this afternoon in a link from BGH gearboxes.....
I think i better get a Sat. morning job
