Ford Throttle Position Sensor
hi, after a throttle position sensor/potentiometer.
Ford P/N 7173046(95BF-9B989-JB )
this is from the following cars :
Escort '81 - '95
Fiesta to 2001
Ka 1996 on
Puma '97 to 2001
Sierra 87 to 93
If anyone has one then please contact me asap,

I may have one on a CVH throttle body -- I think it is the same as used on Rover 214 mPi

Mine has a 3 pin timer socket style rectangular connector.
Looking up the models you list on the online automotive web site ( http://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk )shows a later style rounded with a soft plastic
seal as shown below

Ive got something like in those pics too but not sure of the numbers. Let me know if BT's is no good and ill check it out. From memory (might be
wrong) i think the same sensor is used for cam position too - or at least one very similar.

i misread BT's answer. Mine could be early type. It was taken from a 1.8 zetec, probs early / mid 90's engine.

i think its the early type, its actually for a 1995 (N) Escort Si.
Still need to confirm though (part is at work!)
