Wanted Rover 1.6 K series head.

I desperatley need a K series head for a 1.6 rover if anyone has one spare somewhere. Must be useable with valves. I dont mind having it skimmed to face it off.

Money waiting.

Thankyou.

All l k16 series heads are the same --- from the 1.4 to the 1.8 turbo.

Except at the end of 1999 the cam belt tensioner was redesigned --- not a major problem can be got round.
This was introduced as part of a package of mods including the introduction of a cam phase sensor, wider cam belt and coil pack ignition.

Mine has this. Do the newer belt adjusters fix to the head in the same way?

I am 95% sure that a bit of work with a drill and tap can convert one to the other ---- one thing to watch is the cam phase sensor if swapping complete unit as I don't think all older style heads have the half circle bit on the camshaft to trigger it.
