Cheap source for rust/paint removing discs?

I'm looking for a cheap source for the rust/paint remover discs for the angry grinder. Not that cheap on EBay - anyone know of any cheap suppliers?

Thanks all

Will they be as good Pants? Have been through the one disc I bought in 10 mins.

Chassis looks good though!

Gave that one a rest and I'm presently cutting out a London's telephone exchange worth of cable out of my loom....

You can get the Flap discs in a variety of grades. I think you can get as low as 40 grit and you shouldn't really be wearing a 40 grit disc out on just paint and rust.

I would still rather use a lap disc than an abrasive disc if it were me TBH Pants...

I'd rather use those discs originally mentioned in this topic - the 'open weave foam' things - if I wanted to get paint and rust of metal without wearing away the underlying steel. I think they were originally made by 3M.

They are very effective, and I have several.

That's true - it's what I use most of the time - usually when wearing my leather welding apron! I've ended up with a dozen little wires stuck in my leg before I wore the apron!
