spark plug connecting nut
Morning all,
anyone know where I can get 4 connecting nuts from.
These are the smooth threaded items on the top of the spark plug. I have a bike engine, and the plugs come without them.
I have just changed leads to Taylor ones, and they don't join up. New plugs don't seem to have the connecting nut.
any cunning plans?
Matt

When you service your car, Keep them and don't chuck it away.

Thanks Adrian, you are a very kind man.
re: servicing
My A4 tdi has done 215k miles now and I still haven't changed the plugs. Do you think its time?

You should only change the spark plugs in a TDi when you do the points

New spark plugs - yep definately!! You should also recharge the smoke in the loom too - you can get a kit off t'internet (Audi looms need these
just the same as British Classic car looms)

Good luck with those jobs

thanks Adrian for the spark plug nuts.
They arrived in the post today.
I ordered that Lucas smoke. But now I think I need Bosch smoke, but no-one seems to stock it. Actually, that probably explains a lot about the UK
car industry.
