Type 9 Reverse Pickup Plug

As my car will clearly not be SVA'd I'm going to have to wire in an IVA friendly reverse light.

Does anybody have the plug off the Sierra loom that plugs into the reverse sender on a type 9 gearbox?

Beer tokens waiting...

Thanks

David

That's my fallback option. The connectors I have already don't seem to be the most secure fit.

This may not matter as I think the light might fall off after IVA.

I soldered the wires directly to the plug because the connector was too big to fit in the tunnel. I fried the first one but the second try works like a charm.

As you know, SVA does not require reverse light.

Nor does MOT.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

This is why I think it will drop off after IVA.

If not required for MOT a temp connector would definatley be ok.
