Wanted-sierra sandwich plate
Has anyone got a sierra sandwich plate lying around they dont need please.
I need one to modify for my zetec conversion.

sandwich plate ??? give me an idea what it is or does ?
I have fitted a 1.8 zetec and a 2 litre zetec into 2 7's abd never had one of these sandwich plates
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

I think he means the sandwich plate the goes in between oil filter housing and oil filter.

I bet it is the plate between the bell housing and the gearbox.

Gentlemen,
maybee i should have explained myself
a little better.It is indeed the steel plate
that goes between the engine and bellhousing.Doh.
