Aluminium Sheets
Anyone in central Scotland know where I can buy 8' x4' 1.6mm ali sheet?
Anyone know what I should expect to pay?

I just bought 3 sheets for £69+vat, 1.2mm half hard. S J Andrews, Redruth, Cornwall - bit far to go from Scotland!

and on the westcoast if you really must use these wankers (couldnt pick up the sheets after 1.30 on a Friday wasted west coast trip.) After phoning
them!!!

For small quanities of any kinds of metal there is a place in Govan at the bottom of broomloan road who operate under Metal Super Markets banner at
Units 8 & 9, Moorpark Industrial Estate Broomloan Road, Govan GLASGOW G51 2HF --- it can be quite hard to find the right address it is on the
right comming up from the Govan end.
They don't have the ammout of stock of alloy sheet that the aliuminium stockholders have but will cut it for you and have no minium quanity.

Im looking for 1200mm of oval ali tube to do the headlight mounts do metal super do it. Looked at a couple of supermarket trolleys......to
short...make nice wishbones>>>>>>>>

There is also Service Metals in Cumbernauld as well. If you go around lunchtime, the boys can be tempted to guillotine them into usable sizes for a
few quid cash in hand.
