There you go
For Sale due to being surplus to requirements. My Miller Econotig AC / DC Tig welder.
As you may know, Miller produce quality sets. None of that far eastern stuff inside this unit. Solid reliable unit.
Good starter unit for entry into the Tig welding world, but also a capable unit for the experienced welder. Not too many switches and knobs to confuse
things will have you laying down some nice welds in no time Lays some nice arc welds down to
HF start, 20A-165A range. I've welded down to 0.5mm stainless and did some small sections 6mm Ali with it. 6mm is its top end, but it will
happily do 4-5mm, no problems.
Single phase which is a major bonus. Can be used with 3 pin plug if you're struggling but I got mine wired to a breaker in the garage with a
32amp blue plug.
Comes with all neccesary leads, torch, tongs, regulator, and foot control. Paintwork to case is a little scratched and scraped but is otherwise
excellent condition. All leads and accesories are in excellent condition. Even fitted with a new power cable and 32amp blue plug.
Collection preffered. I'm at SA10 7SQ, just off J43 of the M4 in South Wales. I can however put it on a pallet for you to arrange a courier you
end to collect.
£550, no offers sorry, as I'm not desperate to sell and its not eating anything in the garage
I notice Miller are knocking these out for close to $2K, which is not cheap.
Some more information for you:
http://www.millerwelds.com/products/tig/econotig/
and a bit of 1mm stainless I stuck together with it. I'm no expert mind you

If I didn't already have a nice tig welder I would have snatched your hand off for this. The price with the pedal and regulator is giving it
away. A friend of mine has had one of these in a factory environment for a couple of years without any problems fabricating aluminium and stainless,
nice simple unit to use.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
