Anyone know a lasercutting outfit?
Hi All
I need to get some plates cut for a non-car related project. It is only a small run; 10 if I can get away with it or up to 100 if needs be...
My local place, Lasermaster, seems to want to go out of business. I have now got requests for 3 separate quotes for jobs - one going back to November
last year and I haven't heard a peep despite being told repeatedly that the jobs are on the board etc, I know for a fact that the machine is
not doing much....
Anyway I need to get this short run done quickly as I have interest in the product so does anybody have a reliable source for lasercutting?
Thanks
I've got a little black book with my poems in!

andyw7de gets my recommendation every time at the moment. Fast and good price.
There is 3GE as well, who are excellent quality, though their lead times are slightly longer than Andy's

Thanks for the swift replies - I didn't realise John at 3GE did lasercutting too - I'll give him a shout.
Boggle works for Lasermaster...

I've used laser eng twice. Both times nice and cheap, sent them the DXF, said what material and got a nice load of cut parts back in the post.

I can probably help, just happen to have one in my workshop!
However, DXF's a must really, our CAD guys are always busy! - So they tell me.
