OT - bike boots
After a pair of sz 10 motorbike boots...
Any recommendations or indeed anyone have a set laying about gathering dust?

currently using Sidi vertebra, very comfy and lots of protection.
A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

Many different styles out there David, depends what you want them for, Sports, Cruiser, Trails etc....
For Sports bike use, I think Alpine Stars take some beating, not cheap by any means, but like everything Bike clothing wise, it has a job to do.
AS Boots, Spyke leathers and an Arai helmet saved my bacon in 2001, during a X Type induced get off.

You want a custom/chop as I recall??? in which case an old pair of ex army combat boots is realy your only option - unless you want to look as though
you're on the way to the nearest gay and lesbian bar...... Nothing with steel toe caps if you value your toes and DMs just aren't up to
the job

Cruiser, all weather use too so need to be waterproof.
Pref plain black. I borrowed a pair of Frank Thomas ones today, but I think they were fairly old.

If you can wait a couple of months, get yourself down to the BMF tailender show at peterborough. Always lots of bargains to be had

The chap I sit next to in work swears by his Oxstar boots, has had two pairs and says he wouldn't buy anything else.

I have a pair of £300 AlpineStar boots that are amazing. Fit me perfect, loads of protection, and I paid (a lot) less than list price!
For your style of bike though a pair of frank thomas would be great!
